#PrepareYourHeart - Week One.

It would be a complete lie if I were to say that I wasn’t nervous about writing this post. As the Lord so often reminds me, I have nothing to worry about as long as I keep my eyes focused on Him. I know that it is by His power that I have the ability to write the words that I am sending out into this great big universe.
Before we get into my musings on the Scriptures, let me again state that I am in no way a Bible scholar. For one second, I do not want to pretend to be something more than what I am. I know enough to know there is a lot that I do not know.
Let's get started. Genesis 2:5-25While reading the passage in Genesis, there were a couple of verses that really seemed to jump out at me.

#PrepareYourHeart - Introduction

One thing that really annoys me is when people make promises they can’t keep. At the beginning of the year, I promised I would be back on track with my posts. I would write one post every Monday, participate in Wordless Wednesdays, and post a pattern on Friday. Unfortunately, time got the better of me.
In mid-February, I began a research class that just about kicked my butt. It was, by far, the most difficult class I have taken as part of my undergrad. I know I have many more classes to dread once I start my graduate program.
In all of the craziness that the last few months have been, I finally became a college graduate.

My whole life has been preparing me for this time in my life. The Lord is pouring out immense blessings on me. I have felt His overwhelming peace more in the past couple of weeks, than I have ever allowed myself to feel in my entire life. It is a crazy thing when you finally allow God to have complete control over your life.
